Samson reassigned to Carolina

Right wing Jerome Samson's latest stay with Carolina proved to be a short one.
Samson was reassigned by the Hurricanes to Albany on Sunday.
Summoned by Carolina on Friday for his second NHL recall, Samson played in a 4-0 loss to Phoenix on Saturday, logging 10:17 of ice time.
The third-year pro has recorded one assist in six games with the Hurricanes this season.
Samson leads Albany and is tied for third in the American Hockey League in goals (32) and is tied for seventh in the circuit with a team-leading 62 points.
