Boychuk reassigned to Rats

Zach Boychuk is back with the River Rats.
The rookie forward was reassigned by Carolina to Albany on Sunday after registering a pair of assists in two games this weekend for the Hurricanes.
The 20-year-old Boychuk posted an assist in each game — one in a 4-3 victory over Buffalo on Friday — and another on ex-Rat Pat Dwyer’s eventual game winner in the second period as Carolina defeated the New York Islanders, 3-1 on Saturday to help provide former Rats goalie Justin Peters with the win in his first NHL start.
Boychuk has recorded three assists in 11 games with the Hurricanes this season.
He stands second in Albany scoring with 27 points and ranks second in goals (12).
