Right wing Jerome Samson was recalled by the Carolina Hurricanes from the Albany River Rats on Saturday.
This is the second NHL recall for the 22-year-old Samson, who recorded one point in five games with Carolina, including an assist in his NHL debut with Carolina on Jan. 7 at Nashville.
Samson ranks third in the American Hockey League in goals (32) and seventh in points with 62.
The third-year pro will be available for tonight's game against the Phoenix Coyotes at Carolina.
