AHL suspends Angelidis, Herauf
The American Hockey League announced on Tuesday that center Mike Angelidis and left wing Brad Herauf of the Albany River Rats and defenseman Matt Generous and center Travis Turnbull of the Portland Pirates have been suspended for two games each as a result of their altercations at the conclusion of the Pirates’ 4-2 victory on Sunday in Portland.
In addition, all four players have been fined an undisclosed amount.
Angelidis and Herauf will miss Albany’s games on Friday and Saturday, both at Norfolk.
Generous and Turnbull will miss Portland’s games at Bridgeport and at Syracuse on Friday and Saturday.
