Rats lead 2-0 after first period in Game 3
ALBANY --- Zac Dalpe and Oskar Osala each scored to stake the Albany River Rats to a 2-0 lead over the Hershey Bears in Game 3 of the East Division final series.
The Rats scored two goals within the first five minutes, including converting on their first power play of the game as Zac Dalpe moved in on the right side and beat goalie Braden Holtby glove side at 1:55.
Dalpe then set up the second goal as he won the faceoff in the Hershey zone and sent the puck to Osala, who scored from in close for a 2-0 advantage at 4:13.
Albany goalie Justin Peters made seven saves, while Holtby, getting the start with Michal Neuvirth sidelined (lower-body injury), stopped 11 of 13 shots faced.
