Bowman reassigned to Rats
Rookie left wing Drayson Bowman has been reassigned by Carolina to the Albany River Rats.
The 20-year-old Bowman made his NHL debut in the Hurricanes’ 5-3 home loss against Atlanta on Saturday.
Bowman has tallied 15 points, including eight goals — including two power-play goals and one game winner in 26 games with Albany this season.
The Rats return from the American Hockey League All-Star break by hosting Bridgeport on Friday and play at Adirondack on Saturday, both 7 p.m. starts.
