After two games with the River Rats, forward Marc Cavosie was released from his professional tryout with the club.
A former Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute standout who grew up in Cohoes registered one assist and was a minus-one in two games this week.
An eighth-year pro, the 28-year-old Cavosie appeared in 16 games with the Lake Erie Monsters of the AHL this season before he was released from a tryout and then skated in 15 games with Reading of the ECHL.
The AHL veteran started last season on a PTO with Albany and has totaled 17 (4-13) points in 29 games over three seasons with the Rats.
